Product Description
The magnetic toaster tong is the invention of Jonathan Simons of Jonathan's Wild Cherry Spoons. It is designed to stick to the side of the toaster waiting for the next bagel or english muffin it'll help you retrieve from the red-hot, toaster slot.
Jonathan and Julia Simons reside in rural Pennsylvania and create these wonderful wooden utensils from beautiful cherry wood. They gained fame recently when their work was featured in O Magazine and on the Rachel Ray show.
Jonathan's artist statement reads, "It was time for lunch but I had no spoon for my soup. I worked in a custom furniture shop and there was plenty of wood around so I made my first spoon and ate my soup. Wooden utensils have served me ever since, as I continue to create from a serendipity of need. My designs are crafted by hand with balance and usefulness in mind. They are cut from select cherry wood and carefully sanded so they are smooth and soft in your hand. My work will serve you with pleasure for many years."

I bought these handy tongs for a number of people at Christmas and they all loved them! They are really quality and I like that they are made in the US.
