An environmentally-friendly hardwood that is grown on all continents, Acacia is a non-endangered species and is not harvested from rain forests. Known for its unusual property known as 'chatoyancy', it appears to change color and luster under different lighting, as if to shimmer. As with all wooden kitchen items, it is best to wash them by hand in warm, soapy water and not in the dishwasher.

Great Hostess Gift or Birthday Gift

Bought two sets for a friends wine tasting 30th birthday. She loved them and so did everyone at the party. So clever!!!! I love that they are made of a non-endangered species of wood and that they replace the throw away plates.
