So… I'm supposed to get started on my holiday gift guides, but in the midst of cleaning out my email inbox I stumbled upon a Miz Mooz email & had to take a peek…

Oh how I love their colors & styling… I hope that top one is available when I visit NYC in Jan & I currently own those pretty orange ones (because I believe the dismal winter weather color pallet needs a punch of color now & then:) See more Miz Mooz

Then I remembered seeing a Yellow Door customer wear these pretties from Groundhog yesterday & thought I should look them up…

Now that we've had a few spectacular spring days in Michigan, I've started walking our Basset Hound, Gus to work periodically (we only live 2 miles away from our design studio). And since a gal needs comfortable and stylish shoes for skipping down sidewalks, I picked up these pretties from Sole Sisters in downtown Rochester.

Ona Bright baubled ballet flats – yum yum… I finally had to indulge my purple shoe itch for the fall. Those peacock colored ones are quite fun too!

And for those days I don’t want my bangs hanging in my face or would like a colorful belt alternative, these sweet patterned scarves are the perfect fix.

Even though I don’t have kiddies, I couldn’t resist ooohing & ahhhing over these totally practical Halloween costumes.

And what do you think… King Gus? I’m still holding out for a large hot dog costume for our funny basset hound.

Whenever I make my way to the local Target, I always have to peruse the shoe section to see what styles have hit the mainstream and boy-oh-boy did they get my number for this fall…

I was so overwhelmed with the variety of styles I liked, I didn’t go home with a single pair… but none the less felt the need to share my fall finds with you!

(those purple ones might still be calling my name though… I’m a sucker for fun colors, dainty straps and puckered pleather… in this case)

In case you haven’t heard, Sex and the City opens this weekend and in celebration – snazzy shoe shop City Style (just a couple doors down from our Berkley location) is offering 20% off all their pumps the rest of the week.

They even suggested styles for your pseudo character… so fun!

If your weekend itinerary involves seeing this long awaited film… shhh! Don’t share Carrie’s destiny with us- the c.f. girls and I are makin’ an evening of it on Monday.
