I spotted our quirky food face plate in action on the Fly to my Window blog. Looks like Mr. F got a nice mac-n-cheese hairdo with some grill cheese sideburns. Thanks Shannon for posting your pictures.
I also found these creepy looking hotdog-spaghetti creations on her blog. I wonder how you could use these on the face plate…maybe a runny nose – yuck -huh? They remind me of mutant spiders – which would be fun to serve to the kiddies on Halloween.

I came across this free PFD print-out from the Whisker Graphics Blog and thought it was so so sweet. It's the perfect little booklet to help remind me to be thankful for all the good things that happen every day…. like lunch with my honey every afternoon, curling up on the couch with a good magazine on a rainy morning, walking my dog, watching fireflies dance in my backyard and discovering new music on itunes.
The artist behind this booklet also has a great Etsy store where you can download her graphics and print your own stationery, stickers and more.

As I was crusin' around for some tasty cocktail recipes for our New Year's Eve party, I stumbled on this snazzy blog – Hostess with the Mostess. It's full of fanciful party ideas – some extravagant, some simple, all fantastic like…
And the winner for our January 31st party… Champagne Darling? Freezes
Blend lemon sorbet on low speed and pour in vodka or lemon liqueur in a slow stream. Add prosecco or Champagne. Pour cocktails into a chilled martini glass and serve, garnished with a sprig of mint.
