  1. My favorite flowers are the ones my kids pick for me. You know, the little ones that they pull out of the ground so that the stems are barely long enough to put into water. The ones that are usually just pretty weeds and that wilt within ten minutes. The flowers you often have to check for bugs because there will surely be somebody crawling around in it. Sometimes it is the amazing rose that they yank from a neighbor’s yard and while you are somewhat mortified by the fact that they took this bloom from the neighbor, you are also delighted at the gift they have brought you. I have a special tiny vase in my kitchen just for these flowers that my kids pick for me. The vase holds even the tiniest of stems and is only used for flowers from my kids. Flowers from a child….a precious gift, and always my favorite!!

  2. I love peonies! They are so pretty and fragile, so you have to enjoy them quickly because they don’t last long!

  3. My favorite flower is any flower I can plant that the bunnies won’t eat for dinner! Actually Lilies of the Valley is my favorite and it is such a short lived flower if at all here in Illinois..
    The aroma you can’t beat!

  4. My favorite flowers are the magnolia and the hydrangea. Just something about those big beautiful flowers that look great outside in their natural state and inside in a vase or bowl making everything look so beautiful and sophisticated.

  5. I love hibiscus flowers! They are blooming now in my yard and with every flower that opens I think of the beach but I live in the desert. I have shared on facebook and on pinterest! I thank you for this generous giveaway!

  6. I love ranunculus! I came across this flower while planning my wedding, so it holds a special place in my heart. The flower in the corner of the frame reminds me of a ranunculus. I made sure to post on facebook, twitter (@winerunners) and pinterest too! :)

  7. My favorite flower is the sunflower. It always makes perks me up on a gloomy day and makes me smile whenever I see them! I posted the link on Facebook and Twitter and pinned it to Pinterest.

  8. My favorite flower is the daisy. It is simple & lasts a long time.
It is also the first flower kids learn to draw. :)

  9. My favorite flower is the tulip. I like tulips because they are simple, like me.I love all the varieties of tulips. I find that life often gets to complicated or mussed by busy schedules, the simplicity and grace of tulips remind me to sit back and enjoy all the blessings we’ve been given. We don’t often appreciate how much thought and beauty lies in flowers like tulips. I recently took a trip to Holland, MI just to see the tulips. Unfortunately, due the crazy weather, they were all gone! Nevertheless, it was such a nice place to visit. Very welcoming. I will definitely return next year, crossing my finders for tulips along the way!

  10. I like the big flower with the purple outline and the flower and purple picture frame and the poppies my mother grows in her front yard, they are so special. Catching Fireflies is one of the most creative cute stores in Rochester, Michigan and I am coming back. I Love This store!

  11. Lily-of-the-Valley is my favorite, coincidentally May’s flower, and my birthday is the day of the drawing! Yay! A close second is lilacs. We had lilacs in the front yard, and every spring, the porch was just the loveliest place to be, when there’s a breeze from the general direction of the northwest. :)

  12. My favorite flower is the lilac. They are special because they are around for such a short time, and they are very fragrant. When I step outside and can smell the lilacs, I know it is officially spring. :)

  13. It probably changes with the seasons but right now it is lilacs – which I hear are done blooming by your store but up north where I live they haven’t even begun to bloom yet. I’m waiting anxiously!

  14. Pinned to Pinterest under Caren Gittleman my “For The Home” board…but…I pinned what came up (your give-away is what came up as the text)

  15. My favorite flowers are tulips and daffidills when they pop up in the spring. That means sunny weather is on it’s way!

These great wallflowers have been posted to my Pinterest board as well!

  16. Tulips and gerbera daisys and rununculus…my 3 fav’s AND wild flowers in a field make my heart sing!!

  17. My favorite flowers are irises and tulips, although my heart smiles when my 4 year old picks out the crazy colored daisies in a grocery store that he wants to “buy” for me.

  18. I love wavy petunias in the garden! For the house I love tulips! Plus I love the smell of Lily of the Valley!

  19. My favorite flowers are daisies. They look friendly and cheerful, and have a simple, unpretentious beauty. I used daisies for my wedding bouquet and was recently pleasantly surprised to learn that in the modern designation, daisy is the flower for the month of April, my birth month.

  20. Toad Lilies…which, when you first hear the name, conjure up the most humorous cartoony images of toads with lilies sprouting from their ears (wait, do toads have ears? never mind) or lilies with tiny toads living in them (which would be quite lovely for the tiny toads) or giant green stems blossoming with toads in little tutus (which are kind of lily-like…okay, I just like the idea of it). When you actually see Toad Lilies though you can’t help but be impressed by their grace and color and abundance of exotic bloomingness. Yes I do love the little Toad Lilies.
Although I’m still picturing the tutu-ed toads in my head. ;)

  21. I love hydrangeas in the beautiful blue/purple color – I love the calm they bring. I also love the balls of sunshine my girls bring to me – (aka weeds)-they are given with love and it love them for it!

  22. the daffodils that come every spring reminding me of my mother-in-law who loved them so, she passed away 12 years ago and I feel blessed to live in her house and still enjoy the beauty of her gardens.

  23. My favorite flowers are peonies and hydrangeas. I had both at my wedding and every time I see them they remind me of that beautiful day:)

  24. My favorite flowers are Gerbera Daisies, Ranunculus and the flowers on my strawberry plant that mean berries are coming soon!

  25. My favorite flowers are begonias. My husband always calls them old lady flowers, but I love them. :) I shared this on FB & Pinned it too!

  26. The flowers my boys pick for me are always best! They know purple is my favorite color, so they especially love to find purple flowers. They also know I love Gerber daisies and work to get dad to pick some up for me ;0)
